East-West Digital Library Collaboration Since 1999 Informedia has been collaborating with colleagues at the Chinese
University of Hong Kong,South China University of Technology in Guangzhou,
and Academia Sinica in Taiwan in developing digital video library research
and application development. Informedia is a technical collaborator with
the VIEW (Video over InternEt and Wireless Technologies Alliance) project
at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. This is a collaborative effort
to build a Chinese digital video library with Informedia functionality,
